An additional $30 million in humanitarian aid is being given by the United States to Pakistani towns impacted by severe flooding. With this additional financing, the United States has now provided Pakistan with $97 million in aid this year for flood relief, food security, disaster preparedness and capacity building.
Since the beginning, the United States has supported Pakistan's most vulnerable communities. With the addition of these fresh monies, the U.S. will broaden its current response and support more than 1.8 million people in Pakistan.
